Another Thanksgiving Story

Ever the imaginative child, I had a good series of events, and some unexpected turns in this 3rd grade story. I enjoyed the surprise ending in this one. I'm guessing the prompt was, "Just as mom was taking the turkey out of the oven the unbelievable happened..."
