The wonders of caffeine...

As I worked on laundry this afternoon I removed a load from the dryer, & when I returned to fill it back up this is what I saw... Good ole' mischievous Isis.
Dirt waiting until after vacation to be put in the new flower bed.
Pepper plants.
Isn't my hubby so good? He made such a cute little garden.

I won't blog long since I'm still packing for my trip, but I wanted to share a few pictures, and also take a moment to stand in amazement at the wonders of caffeine. I had a headache earlier so I took 2 Excedrin. For those haven't had Excedrin before, it is a mixture of Tylenol, Aspirin, & caffeine. Here it is almost 2:00 AM, and I am WIDE AWAKE. I probably took it about 6:00 PM. Oh well, It's a good thing since I've been finishing up homework for the semester & packing up my remaining items in my suitcase. I'm finally starting to feel a little drowsy...maybe.

So, hallelujah! I'm done for the semester. :) I sent my last assignment in electronically about an hour ago. I need to fold a few more things, gather my toiletries, and then get some shut eye. My hubby has been asleep for hours now. I'll catch up on some Zzzzz's on the way down tomorrow. 45 minutes is my magic number when it comes to car rides. I start feeling drowsy & dozing at that point, even when I'm not sleep deprived.
I'll move my hyper self along to finish up my stuff. Then I'll sleep about 4 hours before getting up. lol. Haven't stayed up this late in a long time. What are vacations for though? Not packing & homework thankfully but having that part behind me!

There's no place like Disney *click*click*

Okay, so clicking my sparkly red shoes together, and chanting isn't going to bring me there, but soon our car will! I'm excited about an upcoming vacation from work, school, & the busyness of day to day. Mickey Mouse, we'll see you soon!

I'm sitting here sipping peppermint tea and trying not to think about the data management, excel grade book, & standardized assessment assignments that are still standing between me & the end of this semester. I've completed my last class, I just have to finish up some final items, and I'm free!...for a week...and then it's back to summer classes. Oh well, at least it is a change of pace. I plan to have my work done before we leave for our trip. I've been chipping away at it each day, and I just have to finish it up.

Besides that, life goes on about as usual. We've planted a garden, & I'll post pictures once I take some. lol. I say "we". Josh has done most of the work since I have had night classes, but I've tried to help some. Fortunately my summer classes are during the day so my evenings will be much more free which will allow me to help tend to our peppers (bell & hot), tomatoes, cucumbers, & melons.

I'm going to head to bed now. I've had indigestion since Sunday, and all I can figure is I have either gotten food poisoning or a virus. Whatever the case, I want to get better before our delicious Disney delicacies!
