Finger Foods!

Benjamin officially started finger foods several weeks ago.  He loves feeling independent.  

He has insisted on it so much that I can barely jar feed him anymore.

We love pouch foods, and I bought some refillable ones that are working great so far.

I have found out since these pics that he doesn't like chicken chunks yet.  I believe he may need molars first.

No, sir.

These were taken a few weeks ago.  Benjamin wanted to chew on a wire plugged into the outlet.  I was firmly telling him no.  Thus, what occurred was what we refer to as his "pookie" face.  As you can tell, he's not fond of being corrected.

As quickly as those tears come, they go away as well. 

This was him not much later out on the front porch swing with me.

Happy Birthday Benjamin!

Happy birthday Benjamin! He is one! This is just a quick snapshot of him at church earlier. He thought it was funny to see me on the other side of the glass door.

We are supposed to go for his one year check up tomorrow. I am interested to see how it goes. His voice has been hoarse since last night. I am hoping he is not sick.
