The bed

Hello, everyone.  Benjamin, here.

I just thought I would show you how much I love to sleep in my Mama & Dada's bed.  

I like it so much, in fact, that I often pitch a fit when put in my pack'n'play beside the bed in the evening.

And, because I love my Mama so much, I wake up every 2-3 hours at night just so I can see her.

Being a baby is so much fun!  ;)

Btw, my shirt says, "Chick Magnet."

Benjamin's 1st Smoothie

I met my mom at Smoothie King the other day, and while we were there Benjamin had his first taste of a smoothie.  It was mine, Hearty Apple -- an apple one with some cinnamon, ice, etc.  

He liked it!  (Dairy-free, of course).

A quick comparison

I realize that many of my blog viewers don't have the opportunity to see Benjamin in person that often.

Here's a quick size comparison for you to be able to see how much he's grown.

This was taken a few weekends ago (He's about 6 months).

This was when he was 1 week old.

I can't believe how fast time seems to go.  My baby won't be a baby much longer.  Growing up is bittersweet.  I'm glad we still have a few years of cuddling still ahead of us.  And, we love the new things Benjamin is learning to do.  He now says Da Da, Ma Ma, and All done.

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow

We finally had a chance to break out Benjamin's snow suit (Thank you, Aunt Kimmie).  

We've received about 3/4 inch up in our area, and we're still under a winter weather advisory.  I, of course, took this as an opportunity for a photo op.

A quick post

I've been a bit absent lately from the blog lately, but let me assure you I'm still taking pictures.  I'm hoping to find time soon to upload some and share with you some of Benjamin's latest accomplishments.

Until then, here we are all dressed up to go to a wedding that was right before Christmas.

(I had my camera out taking pictures at the wedding.  He had just woken up from a nap, and he was intrigued by what I was doing.)

And here he is with DaDa, having fun while we were on vacation over New Year's.

My new toy

Benjamin has discovered his feet.  

Not only are they fascinating to look at, but they also serve as a handy chew toy.

And, yes, he is teething.  He doesn't just suck on his pacifier now, he also chews on it.  

Based on a few little swollen bumps on his gums, I believe his first teeth will be his bottom two front teeth & another on the bottom (his) right side.  Poor baby.
