Bye bye tangles and split ends (for now). I went for a haircut this afternoon. It still goes in a ponytail (kind of), but in case you wondered how my hair looks shorter, thinned, and freshly washed...

Benjamin, after his Saturday evening bath.  Hooded towel courtesy of Papaw and Nana via a Christmas present.  Look at all of those teeth!  He's working on his top canines now (and they are taking forever).  Then he will just be missing his 2-year molars.

The Great Outdoors

Hello, everyone!  Benjamin here.  

I thought I would share my about recent "trip" outdoors.

Ha, ha, ha.  But, seriously, I went outside in our on Tuesday with my Mama.  

We looked at her cedar tree.   She wrote about it here.   

We played chased.  "Come and get me!"

We looked at Daddy's construction mess on the porch.  She said she would write later about how he built a closet.

We ran some more!

What is this?  Mama calls it a pine tree and asked if I wanted to touch it.

Hmmm...

Surprise!  It's pokey! (No, I didn't poke my eyes.)

That's funny!

Should I do it again?  It's fun to swat around and make it move.

Oooooohhhh!  It's SO MUCH FUN!  I'M SO HAPPY!

"Tree, why are you so funny?"  

It's really neat how everything is kind of brown and dead since it is winter, and the green and the orange are so bright.  

Oh, well, enough of that.  "Mama chase me some more!"

These were taken the same day I started my Kindermusik class.  

I'm going with Grammy, and it is a lot of fun!

Mama wants to blog more really soon.  She's super busy right now with her work.  She has been taking super cute pictures of me though.  Maybe soon.

Buckets full of fun!

We have tried to make the most of our (potentially) last day of vacation here at the cabin.  The weather patterns and road condition here in our lovely state will determine whether we end up with one more day off.

Thank you for your prayers as Josh and I have recuperated.  Benjamin thankfully has not caught the flu.  I still fatigue quite easily, but otherwise I am back to normal.

Benjamin and I had some rousing games of chase.  

He also tried on his "hat" multiple times.  It was a new adventure taking off at full speed with it over his entire head.  He thought it quite funny.

 

 

He found fresh amusement in my turning my phone so he could see himself as he pulled his "hat" off and on.

I have the flu.

Josh and I both have the flu. Praying it away from our baby.  It's awful. If you haven't gotten your flu shot yet, I recommend going. This is awful. 

Me at the doctor. I have some Tamiflu. Hoping it works its magic.
